About the WildBlue Satellites
WildBlue currently works on what is known as the Ka-band satellite system. This advanced communications system is implemented in both of WildBlue's
satellites - the WildBlue-1 and Telesat's Anik F2. Through this enterprise system WildBlue is able to provide "spot beam" coverage
in over 66 areas, covering most of the continental U.S. This advanced technology also is what enables WildBlue to provide rural areas across
the U.S. with the broadband satellite internet at very competitive prices.
