Being back off the road, I was stuck with dial-up for years. I could check my email, but I couldn't really do much else. Then, I found out about WildBlue. Now, I have fast internet service that allows me to not only check my email but also find recipes, get driving directions and read the news online. Best of all, I have even found a job that I can do from home! I could never have done that with my old dial-up connection.

Getting out isn't always as easy as it used to be, so I do a lot of shopping online. When I had dial-up, it was difficult to shop online. It would take such a long time that I would end up getting frustrated. Since I became a WildBlue customer a few years ago, it has been so much easier to buy the things I need without having to worry about leaving my home. That is especially great in the wintertime, when the weather just gets too wicked for me.

There aren't many entertainment options out where we live. The closest movie theater is a drive, and it usually isn't showing anything that we want to see anyways. So, having a fast internet connection is an absolute godsend. We love being able to watch movies, play games and find great music online. Thanks, WildBlue!

We're out on a farm, so we need access to good weather forecasts. WildBlue lets us access the forecasts that we need and so much more. We just found a great used pick-up thanks to an online auction site, and it has been put to good use on our farm. It is amazing how many things we rely on the internet for; thankfully, we have a dependable, high-speed connection.

I home school our two kids, so we use the internet a lot to find educational materials. I've been a WildBlue customer for five years, and I can't imagine trying to home school with the dial-up connection we used to have. We wouldn't be able to access many of the materials that are important to the kids' educations. I want for our daughters to go to good colleges. That means we need to build a strong foundation now. With a good high-speed internet connection, I can do just that.
